Pretty girl Mala is a 7-year-old Crossbreed in the care of Safe Rescue. She’s currently in a multi-dog foster home in Norwich, Norfolk.

Mala is very affectionate with people she trust but can be shy of strangers. She would like to live with one or two other friendly dogs to help her confidence.

She can live with considerate children from age 10 and should be fine with a confident cat or two. She’s a gentle girl who is a little nervous at times.

Mala was originally rescued from Bosnia by a different rescue and came into Safe Rescue‘s care when her UK foster carer was no longer able to look after her. She’s gradually got used to what dogs here take for granted, like walkies!

Mala is pretty good on the lead now. She travels OK in the car too. Such a sensible dog!

When she’s relaxed she can be quite playful. In a peaceful home with a properly dog-oriented routine, she’s very good at relaxing…

…especially when a lap is available to snuggle up to!

Mala is a delightful girl when will make a happy edition to the right sort of home. She also has a comical and unusual habit of crossing her front paws daintily when she’s lying down.

Note: Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks for the duration of their lives. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full information about their rehoming policy is on Mala’s details on Safe Rescue’s Facebook.
