3/11/2023 – Molly has been rehomed!
Lovely oldie Molly is a medium-sized Crossbreed aged around 13 years old. She came to Safe Rescue recently from a private shelter in Romania where she has been for some years. She’s now safe in a foster home in Norwich, Norfolk, and hopes to find a quiet retirement home soon.
Molly is a sweet and comical older lady who may look frail but she still has the oomph to keep the youngsters in line. She likes to sleep a lot, but when she does emerge from the duvet, she likes gentle strokes and some nice food. She’s loving comfortable beds after years on hard shelter floors. Not a bad retirement life if you can get it, right?
Molly will go for short strolls, but she doesn’t want to go too far and she’s not keen on being told which way she’s got to go either. Her carers tend to let her just do her own thing and she’s no trouble at all and often makes them smile.
Molly would like a calm retirement home. She can live with or without other dogs and would be okay with respectful children aged 12 and over. Her hearing’s not perfect, her legs are a little wonky, but this girl still knows what she wants out of life and she just needs somewhere to go to be spoiled for the rest of her life please.
Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full details of their rehoming policy are on Molly’s details on Safe Rescue’s Facebook
