7/12/23 – Rehomed
Pixie and Bay are a delightful pair of Shih Tzus looking for a new home together. Their previous owner unfortunately became unwell, resulting in them being left in the home for long periods of time. They are now in a foster home and being rehomed by Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool.
Pixie is a 12-year-old girl, the cream one. And Bay is an 11-year-old boy who is grey and white. They are adorable little dogs with fabulous personalities. They have a very strong relationship and have been together for over 10 years so must be rehomed together. Their foster mum says they have settled in very well and are very placid in the home, describing them as extremely sweet-natured dogs.
Pixie is a quiet and gentle girl who likes a walk but she can get tired after around 20 minutes. She then appreciates a helping hand from her humans!
Bay is slightly younger and he has been with Pixie his entire life. He looks to Pixie for reassurance and he needs a lot of attention from his humans so that he leaves Pixie in peace. Bay is more active than Pixie and still loves to get out and about.
They love company so need a home with people around most of the time. Once they are settled in their new home they will be able to be left for short periods. They have been around young children, so Freshfields would consider a home with youngsters, and they have lived with cats. They do need to be the only dogs in the home though, as Bay does not appreciate the company of other dogs.
Could you offer Pixie and Bay a lovely home together?
