01/09/2023: Roxy has been adopted! Hooray!
Roxy is a gorgeous 7-year-old Staffy x Lurcher who is with Rescue Remedies, at their kennels near Gatwick.
Pretty Roxy is a very sweet dog who finds kennels stressful and we really hope that this Oldies Club page will help her find the home that she’s waiting for. She is gentle with people and a very loving girl. She has lots of energy and in fact she would make a perfect running partner.
Roxy had a brief break from kennel life, in a foster home, and settled in very well after a mad half hour of sussing out the house. She soon made the sofa her own and was more than happy to share it with her head on her carer’s lap.
She is full of love and would sleep next to you all night given the chance, but she will settle on her own bed when she’s told to. She is a chilled lady in the home, with bursts of energy to keep you on your toes. She is a bit of a puller on the lead but responds well to ‘heel’.
Roxy was very good when she met children, but due to her strength and bursts of enthusiasm, any children in her new home would need to be older.
Roxy is a very gentle girl when she has the chance to escape the stress of the kennel environment. She doesn’t have a bad bone in her body. She loves to please and she has so much love to give.
