Sweet Sadie was taken into the care of Safe Rescue initially because her owner’s ill health meant she wasn’t getting the care she deserved. She has been in a new home for several weeks but, despite every effort, she would not get along with one of the resident dogs. It was with great reluctance that Sadie was returned as she settled in well in every other way. She is now living in a foster home in Norwich, Norfolk.

Sadie is a 7 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross. She is a very sweet but nervous/anxious girl at times. In her original home, she was not walked or socialised but has recently been getting all the exercise a Staffy needs and has thrived on it. Sadie can bark at strangers due to this but is very affectionate when she gets to know you.

Sadie adores children and can happily live with those of 6 years plus. She hates cats and cannot be trusted around any small animals. Sadie can live as an only dog or with a confident, boisterous dog that can match her enthusiasm.

Sadie is a really sweet girl who would like a home where she is not often left home alone. She’s had a difficult time and really deserves an understanding home with a family who have an abundance of time and love to invest in her.

Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full details of their rehoming policy are on Sadie’s web page here.
