11/9/23 – Will has found his new home. Wonderful news!
—————–
This is wonderful Will and he’s an approximately 7 year old, rough-coated Lurcher who found himself on death row in the pound as an unclaimed stray. Will is a gorgeous, happy lad that so desperately needs a forever home and family of his own. Meantime, he is being cared for by All Animals Rescue & Rehome in Essex.
Will is such a very beautiful boy it’s hard to imagine why he wasn’t reclaimed. He weighs 17kg and could be a Bedlington Terrier/Whippet mix, but who knows? Whatever he is, he is gorgeous! Will walks beautifully on the lead and doesn’t appear to have much prey drive. Will is so easy-going and is a delight to have. He is a couch potato of a dog and he is very quiet and obedient. He would love a family to snuggle on the sofa with all day with the occasional break for walks and ball chasing; he loves this. He is happy as the only dog or snuggled up with other dogs but he has not been cat tested.
Will is well-behaved and somebody has obviously put a lot of love into him. He is house-trained and non-destructive – happy to be left snoozing on the sofa. He absolutely adores other dogs so could happily live with a companion, but he would equally be happy as the only dog. Where Will is concerned, sofa is the good life. As with most similar breeds, he is a scavenger and, if there is food on the side or in the bin, he will have it.
Will travels perfectly in the car and is a really laid-back, easy-going lad. He can happily be left for short periods. He is very friendly and would make a fantastic companion for an older couple or person on their own wanting company. He is neutered, microchipped and is flea/worm treated. He recently had a dental.
