29/02/2024 – Amber has been rehomed!

Amber is a beautiful grey-faced 9-year-old Labrador who is with Jerry Green Dog Rescue, at their South Lincolnshire centre in Algarkirk.
Lovely, affectionate Amber is hoping for a calm, cosy home to call her own. She loves being with people but can cope with being left for up to 4 hours if you need to go out.
Being an older girl, Amber doesn’t need too much exercise. Her back legs are quite painful at times but she does enjoy going for short potters and she would love a fairly level garden where she can stretch her legs. She needs to lose a few pounds, which will help with her painful joints. She is on medication at the moment and the rescue will be happy to talk you through this on the phone.
Amber could potentially live with children aged over 7, as long as the house is not too busy or loud. She would prefer to be the only dog in the home, but might enjoy having some walking buddies. She may be able to live with cats and small animals, but this will need to be tested first just to be sure.
