Lovely Bart originally came into the care of Safe Rescue in 2020 after being almost killed by other dogs in the Botosani public shelter in Romania. He quickly found a home but, sadly, he has recently been returned to the Rescue due to his family moving abroad without him.
Bart is an 8 year old, medium-sized Crossbreed. He’s a sweet boy who is now enjoying his comforts in a foster home in Lakenheath, Suffolk. His fosterer describes him as a gentle, friendly and quiet boy who is clean in the house and likes a fuss.
Bart previously lived with cats, other small animals and a child of 9 years old. He can live with other dogs that are calm and won’t remind him of his past experience at the shelter. He can also be the only dog in the home if someone is home for most of the day.
Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used.
