20/08/2024 – Big Bear has been adopted!

This gorgeous big hunk of a teddy bear is, of course, named Bear! He is 12 years old and is being rehomed by Dogs4Rescue in Manchester. Note that they only rehome within the North West area.

Bear is a large Crossbreed, a distinguished gentleman, and simply a lovable wise old man. He is looking for the perfect retirement home and is currently spending time in a foster home where he has settled in really well. He has found his spot on the sofa and, along with stealing the hearts of his fosterers, he regularly makes them laugh with his silly antics. All of the neighbours love him too and he is becoming quite a local celebrity!

Bear is such a lovely, gentle boy and he wants nothing more than a fuss and some home comforts. He sleeps most of the time and is no trouble at all. He enjoys spending his days lying on the grass in the garden before settling down with everyone on the sofa in the evenings.

Although he is a big boy, he’s no problem on walks and just plods along. He is happy to say hello to other dogs and is very respectful and happy to go his own way. He is not a fan of cats though. Bear has arthritis and is on long-term medication for this.

Could you offer big Bear a fabulous new home?
