Beautiful Betsie is a fun-loving, 7-year-old Rottweiler in the care of Love Underdogs in Waltham Abbey, Essex. She wants to be the only pet in an adult-only home. She’s petite for her breed but still gives a substantial cuddle and she adores fuss of all kinds.
Betsie would thrive with owners who have previous experience with Rottweilers or similar breeds as she can exhibit some typical traits. She’d spent quite some time chained to a car at the entrance of a public shelter in Romania and then more years in another shelter before coming to Love Underdogs. It’s safe to say, she’s a happy lady now!
Betsie is a super fun and loving girl but she can feel a little insecure at times and would love to have owners who can understand her in these moments. She can find it challenging when meeting new dogs and it would be helpful if her forever humans continue working through this with her.
Betsie has been great when meeting new people coming to Love Underdogs, an environment where she feels safe, but she can get alarmed at times when being approached or feeling followed by strangers when out and about. She needs proper introductions to any new people to ensure that she feels safe to show her loving and goofy side!
Betsie is a true foody at heart and thoroughly enjoys training if there is a biscuit waiting for her at the end!
She wants a home with a good garden for frolicking and sunbathing in…
…and she wants lots of fuss and lap cuddles!
