Handsome Lurcher Bex is a glorious golden oldie and, although Dogs Trust Merseyside have no real history for him, they do have some scraps of details about his past. He’s 9 years old was handed into rescue in Scotland but found his way into their care.

Bex is great with people and likes to have a gentle potter about the Centre on his walks, and happily says hello to everyone. He’ll give a big “woof” when he’s bored and wants to move on. Some calm friends for walkies would be nice.

Bex is known to have been around children and can live with children over the age 10 but needs to be the only dog as he won’t share beds or food. He is house-trained and can be left alone for two or three hours.

Bex prefers female canine company to that of males but, as he won’t share any of his things, he needs to be rehomed by himself to avoid any conflicts. Bex has been used for “lamping” in the past, so care should be taken around wildlife when he’s out, or if you have little visitors to your garden.
