Mayflower Sanctuary Bawtry in South Yorkshire, are appealing for an adult-only, pet-free, permanent or foster home who can open their hearts to dear Bruno and help him navigate through his sad time. He needs your help please.

Bruno is a special Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross who, after 14 months with the Rescue, finally found his soulmate. He was rehomed to a special and very dedicated man who gave Bruno his best Christmas present ever in December 2023 and they were so happy. Sadly, his owner passed away suddenly and unexpectedly and Bruno is back looking for a permanent, or a foster home, urgently.

Bruno is now 11 years old and is very disoriented, depressed and unhappy about losing his owner and home. He really needs your help to find a new, quieter home and he doesn’t understand his return to kennels. Bruno likes a walk but can be strong on the lead and dog reactive. He can be left for a couple of hours and travels okay in the car.

Bruno has no known health issues, but the Rescue will pick up veterinary costs for their foster dogs within their catchment radius should there be any. He will need time, patience and all the usual requirements around the practicalities of a secure garden and home.
