Please help Buddy by sharing this page!

Goofy boy Buddy is a medium to large Crossbreed of around 8 years. He’s currently in a foster home in Portsmouth through Animals We Care.

Buddy is good with children as he’s a sunny-natured boy. He is quite bouncy and rather solid so older children would be a safer bet at home, smaller ones could be bowled over.

Buddy absolutely loves other dogs! He would enjoy living with one or more. He makes doggy friends very easily and will play with any he can. He hasn’t worked out what toys are for but he’s full of clownish silliness. He hasn’t been cat tested and it’s likely cats would not enjoy playing chase as much as he does.

Buddy loves his walks and is excellent on the lead. He does need the chance to run around off-lead in a secure field. He has a lot of enthusiasm for life which needs an outlet, to get out the zoomies and have a lovely roll in the grass.

This affectionate boy enjoys a fuss, whether it’s tummy tickles or actual cuddles. He has a lot of love to give!

Buddy is good in the car and clean in the house. He can be left for a couple of hours, even a bit longer when needed. He does like getting involved with what his humans are doing though. He’s always ready to help with whatever activity you’re doing, whether it’s really helpful or not!

Buddy takes medication to control leishmaniosis. He’s been on it for 3 years and doesn’t have any symptoms. It’s not contagious and the medication is very affordable but Animals We Care are willing to pay for it for up to 9 months, if it helps Buddy find his forever home.
