25/6/2024 – Cali has started to have seizures and so she is staying with her foster family where she is settled and happy.
—————
Affectionate Cali joined the Leash of Life family about a year ago when her owners were made homeless. She urgently needs a new home as her foster carers can only keep her for another week due to changes in their circumstances. She is currently living near Bath in Somerset and very much hopes to find a new home soon.
Cali is a 12 year old, white, spayed, female Labrador/Husky Cross. She is a very affectionate and intelligent girl and loves country walks, paddling in water, exploring woods and fields. Although she is getting a little older now and cannot walk miles, so chilling in the garden and by the fire are very much enjoyed.
Cali is fine to be left for a few hours and travels well in the car. She is living happily with a cat and another dog, but she has some food aggression with the dog so would be best homed as an only one.
Cali doesn’t like being touched around her back-end, so any resident children need to be aged 12+ and dog respectful. Cali walks well on a lead and the only time she pulls is when she sees another dog. She isn’t always good with other dogs.
