Chip (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

Chip is a very happy boy now that he has come into the care of Safe Rescue rescued recently from the Botosani public shelter in Romania. He was an orange ear tag dog which means he’d been in there for around four years.

Chip is a medium-sized Crossbreed aged around 8 years. He is now in a U.K. foster home in Norwich, Norfolk, and is adapting very well. He’s a little hand-shy but very comfortable being around the people in the home and getting more confident daily.

Chip mixes well with other dogs but would also be fine as an only dog. He is starting to enjoy his walks but tires quite quickly currently due to poor fitness from being confined to a pen for 4 long years. Chip could live with respectful children aged 12 and over.

Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full details of their rehoming policy are on Chip’s details on Safe Rescue’s Facebook.
