20/12/2024 – Darcy is being fostered with a view to adoption!
—————
Sweet girl Darcy is looking for a home and just wants a quiet and secure place to call her own. She is in foster care provided by Jerry Green Dog Rescue in Nottingham and is doing really well there. Darcy is so hoping to find the perfect retirement home where she can feel the safety, love and security she deserves.
Darcy is a gorgeous, senior Staffy at 11 years old. She does take a couple of meets to come round to new people and it can take her time to trust. She has clearly had some sort of trauma with people in the past, but details of this are unknown due to her coming in as a stray. Once she trusts you, she is as loyal as they come.
Darcy would like a home with a secure garden so she has a space where she can play with her toys and sun bathe on a sunny day. Darcy may be a senior girl but she very much still enjoys her walks and playing. She also just loves a cosy bed and snoozing in the evening; surely she offers the best of both worlds?
Darcy is looking to be the only pet in the home but she can however go for gentle walks with calm dogs that just allow her to do her own thing. She could be homed with children aged 14 and above if they meet at centre and fall in love.
Darcy is looking for a home with not too many visitors, but she would be okay with a regular visitor that she can build confidence with. She wouldn’t want to be left home alone for long periods of time but, once she is settled, she would be fine if you need to pop out here and there. She does also love car rides though!
Darcy has been vet checked and she is well medically.
