This is the very cute and distinguished Dixon. He found himself looking for a new home when he was left unclaimed in the pound; his mouth was absolutely rotten and he had 36 teeth removed, others had already fallen out. The expense of the vet treatment was the most likely reason he was left unclaimed. He was also heavily matted and needed to be totally shaved off. Now he’s ready for the loving home he deserves with the help of All Animals Rescue & Rehome in Essex.
Dixon is an approximately 7/8 year old Maltese Terrier. He is small and mighty and full of fun and mischief. He has a lovely character that will melt your heart and he would make a fantastic companion for someone who likes the slower pace of life and a little buddy to talk to. Dixon is the definition of a lap dog and he just loves to be with you. He is only a dinky little man weighing less than 5kg, and he is a little porky at the moment.
Dixon is a happy little guy who would love a family to play with him and keep him occupied. He loves a walk and to greet everyone he meets; indoors however, he is like Velcro, follows you everywhere and can’t wait to snuggle with you. Dixon is an undemanding little lad that is happy with a slower pace of life.
Dixon absolutely adores other dogs and so could happily live with other dogs. That said, he is also a very independent little man so would be happy as the only dog in the home as well. He is also fantastic with cats so can happily live with them. Due to his tiny size and older age, he is looking for an adult-only home with someone who will love and cherish him.
Dixon is fine to be left for short periods and he will just take himself off to his bed. He is house-trained, however, he will scent mark in a new environment.
Dixon is a gorgeous happy little man who so desperately needs a forever home. He is neutered, microchipped and flea/worm treated.
