29/9/24 – Dusty has found a new home!

Friendly Dusty is an 8+ year old, small Crossbreed chap who is looking for his forever home with the help of Dogs Trust Merseyside in Liverpool.

Dusty has settled well into centre life and has been happily pottering about and exploring. He has no problem with being smartened up with the brush or being seen by the vet, he has taken everything in his short stride.

Dusty has been very friendly with all the people he’s met and has shown himself to be very loving. He is also friendly towards the other dogs, but he can’t share a home as he will guard his food from other animals. He’s quite happy by himself and doesn’t like to share his things.

Dusty is good in the car and likes to go for drives to new places. In his last home, Dusty had been house-trained up until the family moved house, at which point he seemed to regress. He is pretty clean in his sleeping area, but he may urinate in the house when he first goes home, so please be prepared for this.

Dusty can live with children over the age of 8 but he will need to be the only pet at home and, ideally, there should be someone at home with him most of the time. Dusty has some age-related joint pain that requires medication.
