18/5/24 – George has found a home… with his two sisters! The best news!

George is a gorgeous 9-year-old Akita who is being rehomed by Friends of Akitas, along with his sisters Foxy and Gem. It would be amazing if someone could offer them all a home together, but this is obviously a big ask, and so they can be rehomed separately. They are currently in Lincolnshire.

George & Co are lovely dogs who need a new home through no fault of their own. George is a sweet boy and when the rescue’s assessor visited he just wanted to sit with them and enjoy a head scratch.

George lives with his two sisters, Foxy and Gem. Friends of Akitas appreciate that to take on three senior Akitas is a big ask, but George would be fine to be rehomed without them, either as an only dog or to a home where there is already a resident female canine. He is much more interested in human companionship than canine.

As George has no experience of living with children, FOA are looking for an adult-only home for him, or a home with older teenage children. George is not cat tested. He is house-trained and lead-trained and doesn’t need a lot of exercise.

If you are looking for a loving dog that wears his heart on his sleeve, then George could well be your boy!
