Sadly due to the health issues of both his owners, George is in the position of having to find a new retirement home. He was rehomed by Halfway Home Dog Rescue a few years ago, so he’s back with them in Collingham near Newark and hoping his cosy home comes along soon.
George is a Labrador cross type gent and it’s believed he is around 10 years old. The Rescue really want to find someone who will care for him in his twilight years so that this is his final move, especially at this age.
Since George was previously rehomed, he has lived as an only dog and he hasn’t been used to children as he’s been living with an elderly couple in a quiet home. The owners’ details of George are available to pass on to anyone who wants to have a chat about him to see if he would fit snugly into their household.
George is neutered and has recently seen a vet who has confirmed that, as far as she can tell, he is in good health.
