Affectionate Gizmo is looking for a new home as his much-loved owner has become ill and can no longer care for him and there are no family/friends who can have him. He has been in a foster home with a couple but he did not take to the man, so he might need a female-only household. Meantime, Gizmo is being cared for by Warrington Animal Rescue who hope to find him a loving home soon.
Gizmo is a 9 year old, brown and white Jack Russell Cross and has lived in the same home since he was 12 weeks old. He would benefit from a quiet, adult-only home (he has never had experience with children), where he is the only pet, ideally where he gets lots of company, as he adores sitting with his owner, hugs and lots of attention.
Gizmo has never lived with another dog, but is good around dogs out and about, though sometimes a little wary of bigger dogs. He walks well on his lead, but his recall is untested.
Gizmo is good in the home and is house-trained. He can be left for short periods, though initially a little upset, he soon chills out. He travels okay in the car.
Gizmo loved his Mum so much and will take a little time to respond to a new person, so his new family would need to be patient during any meetings and be prepared to let him adjust into his new home.
