Gordon and Gladys (Private rehoming, Lincolnshire)

Listed under:

Gordon and Gladys are an adorable pair of Airedale Terriers and are 7 years old. They are being rehomed privately by their owner and are currently living in Boston, Lincolnshire. Their previous owner was too ill to look after them and they were taken in as a halfway house. They are both very healthy with no known medical issues.

Gordon and Gladys love being together and are always ready for having new adventures. They are lead-trained but, previously and currently, they have had a country life with their own land, so they have always exercised off the lead. They like to have a run, but a 20-minute walk would be enough, although they would take more if it was on offer.

Gordon and Gladys are fine to be left alone as long as they are together. A large cage could be used to start with until they are familiar with the surroundings, but they are not anxious dogs. They both travel well.

Gordon and Gladys would probably prefer to be the only pets in the home as they have mainly been kept together and they have not lived with cats previously. They are friendly with their carer’s teenage children, but it’s recommended that any family with young children should be sensible and dog-savvy.

Gordon and Gladys have led a fairly sheltered life as they were kennel dogs previously. There would be a period of readjustment and settling in with patience and understanding, but they are both good dogs and in the right home they would prove to be a loving addition.

Gordon and Gladys are being rehomed privately by their owner, who has confirmed she will take them back if their new home doesn’t work out for any reason. Prospective adopters will be carefully home-checked.
