This adorable pair are Lucky (left) and Holly (right). They are 11-year-old Crossbreeds who have only recently found out how nice life can be in a comfy home with kind humans who give you as much fuss as you want! They’re in a foster home in Malvern, Worcestershire through Pads 4 Pooches waiting for the perfect retirement home together.
They want to be the only pets at home and for any resident children to be older and considerate.
Holly and Lucky spent their whole lives until recently in kennels in a shelter overseas. Drab, grey concrete and bars were all they knew…
…apart from each other! Their love of each other got them through the bad times and they can now express their true, joyful nature. To see a lovely clip of them CLICK HERE.
Holly and Lucky are now living life to the full. They’re making up for all the years of walks and cuddles they should have had. They walk beautifully on the lead and have certainly got used to soft furnishings!
Holly is the more confident of the two and Lucky tends to follow her about. They both love human attention and have trained their foster carer to give them both fuss at the same time.
They are clean and well behaved in the home, asking to be let out when they need a comfort break.
Holly and Lucky are both snugglers and, although they can be left for reasonable amounts of time, they would love to have someone around most of the time, especially if that someone loves spending time in the garden as much as they do!
They are both, neutered/spayed and fully vaccinated. Lucky is on medication for epilepsy. He hasn’t had an episode in the last 9 years so it must be working! They’re otherwise healthy and have this to say about themselves, “We are both happy, waggy tailed dogs. We are really great with people, wanting ALL of their attention and we snuggle down just great. Holly likes a good old snore!
“We spent all of our lives in filthy kennels with only our companionship keeping us going. We would love someone to welcome us into their home and love us for our last gifted years out of kennels. We promise to be your goofy love bugs on either side of you like bookends!”
