Hugo (Woodgreen, at home in Cambridgeshire)

1/10/24 – Hugo has found a new home. Yay!

Hugo is a handsome and friendly large 8 year old white and black spotted cross breed English Pointer. Originally from Cyprus, he is being rehomed by Woodgreen. but is staying in his original home, until a suitable new home can be found for him. He is currently in Cambridgeshire, but Hugo’s new home can be in any part of the UK.

Hugo is a very loving boy, who is a bit partial to his home comforts. He will happily settle on the sofa, and is not really interested in playing with toys.

However, once he gets going, he is an active boy that enjoys his daily walks. He will say “Hi” to dogs when out walking, but doesn’t appear to want to interact further, therefore, a home where Hugo will be the only dog is sought. He could however have some buddies to go on walks with together.

He doesn’t necessarily need a garden, and can be walked on a long lead . Hugo can be left for a working day, snoozing on his sofa, and settles well. However, he loves human company, and will need time to settle into his new home, before being left. Hugo is housetrained, and travels well in the car.

Hugo can live with children over 11yrs, that know to respect his space, and is looking for a home without cats or small furries. Hugo does have Osteoarthritis, nuclear sclerosis and elevated liver enzymes. He is not currently required to take medication , but may need to in the future.
