What a gorgeous and loving boy is Ironhide. Currently in foster in Cambridgeshire, looking to be rehomed by Woodgreen. He is a medium size 8yr old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, just looking for the right person to give him all of the love he deserves. And yes, you will get it back in abundance, as Ironhide just wants lots of cuddles, and to be your best friend. He is looking to be your only dog, and could live with cats, with the correct introductions, and securely housed small animals

Ironhide does not generally enjoy meeting other dogs, as it can make him quite worried, so prefers to be walked away from other dogs, and have fun with his family. A garden is not essential, however, he will need his toilet breaks outside and the walks he desires.

Ironhide can be left at home on his own for up to 3 hours per day, and it is felt that this could gradually be extended, once settled. He travels well in the car, and gets excited to go out, as he knows he’s going on an adventure. He is housetrained and can live with children aged 8 yrs and over. He loves a chat, and is also a great listener. The perfect friend !

Gorgeous Ironhide is currently a bit too chunky, (he loves his food !)  and so does need at least one good walk a day, to help him shift those extra pounds. He has suffered from lameness, and sore feet in the past, as a result of his obesity, so weight management is important. He loves his walks, and playing with his tuggie toys, so will really enjoy his new fitness regime !

He has had a tail injury in the past and an oral epulis and skin tags removed, but is not on any medication at present.

If you could give this lovely boy the cuddles and love he is seeking, or would like some more information, please contact Woodgreen
