19/2/24 – We are delighted to hear that Ivy had lots of interest from her appearance on the Oldies Club website and she’s packing her bags ready to go to a lovely new home!
—————–
Cute little Ivy is an 11-year-old Jack Russell Terrier type lady who is with Heathlands Animal Sanctuary, in foster in Bedfordshire.
Darling Ivy was saved from the local pound, just before Christmas. She was underweight, had kennel cough and also rotting teeth. She has since had full blood tests, and had 29 teeth out. She came through the operation really well and is managing just fine to eat wet food with her 5 remaining teeth!
Ivy is a really sweet little lady with a strong spirit. She’s wonderful company as she likes to go everywhere with you. She travels well in the car and will happily walk for 45 minutes without any sign of difficulty.
She’s totally fine with other dogs out, big or small, but likes to think she’s the boss of the other, bigger, dogs in her foster home. She’s just a fabulous, typical terrier!
Ivy enjoys a little game of fetch in the kitchen, a snooze on your lap if you’re sat down and, as far as she’s concerned, your bed is also her bed for the night!
She is an absolutely fantastic, loyal and affectionate little dog, with hopefully many years of mischief ahead. Ivy just needs a quiet home and lots of love. She should be fine with visiting children. She hasn’t been tested with cats. It isn’t know if Ivy has been spayed.
Could you offer Ivy a quiet home?
