Cute senior dog Jacko, a Parson Jack Russell terrier, has found himself a bit lost and confused, suddenly ending up in the care of RSPCA Essex South, Southend & District Branch after years in a home and at 12 years old. Unfortunately, his elderly owner was no longer able to care for Jacko’s needs.
Currently in a foster home, Jacko is having the best time, but he would love to move on soon and find a calm, loving forever home. He can at times become anxious and a bit confused, but it’s hoped that a calm and patient home will soon help him settle. He is a lovable soul and loves to shower his people with affection.
Jacko is currently sharing his foster home with other animals and he is co-existing with them well, but he would prefer to be the only animal in his new home. It’s believed that Jacko would be happier being the only pet and being truly spoiled like the prince that he is.
Walks are of great excitement to Jacko and he will certainly make sure he lets you know, although once out he might need a bit of encouragement to carry on for a walk. Jacko should be fine having walking buddies and occasional visiting friends.
Jacko reserves all sofa and bed rights, he is housetrained and could live with calm children over the age of 12 years old. He is castrated, microchipped, vaccinated and is worm and flea treated.
