Charming Jay is a 12 year old French Bulldog Cross who has been returned to Dogs Trust Merseyside, Liverpool after eight years through no fault of his own. He is house-trained but not used to being left, so he will need someone with him most of the time in his new home.
Jay is as cheeky and charming as he ever was. He’s still an active lad and, when getting ready for his walk, he will put himself in his harness. Jay is a happy chap and always willing to say hello to people, and even sailed through his first vet check without any worries about being examined.
Jay can live with teenagers but does have to be the only dog at home though as he guards toys. He is also dog friendly when he’s out on walks and, although a little pushy when introducing himself, he quickly settles and will walk with anyone.
Jay will always need to trade for something rather than have anyone try to take his toys away from him. Jay has shown no such issues around his food and takes his treats very nicely.
Jay’s left foreleg is somewhat thickened which limits his mobility on that limb and he may need lifelong anti-inflammatories.
