26/06/2024 – Rehomed!
This handsome, really gentle giant is called Ludo and he has sadly been returned into the care of the Jerry Green Dog Rescue in North Lincolnshire when his owner suddenly passed away.
Ludo is 9 years old and is a neutered German Shepherd Cross. Sadly, he doesn’t cope well in the kennels and so has been placed in a lovely foster home where he is doing brilliantly. Despite being an older boy, Ludo really enjoys playing in the garden with his foster family.
Ludo also enjoys his walks and is really gentle on the lead; he never pulls so is easy to manage even though he is a large dog. He is super affectionate and will make a great companion for a new family. He would like to be the only pet in the home so he can have all the attention and he promises to give you lots of love and affection back. He would prefer to live with children over the age of 11 years and hopes they love cuddles as much as he does.
Ludo is worried by other dogs so needs to be the only pet in the home. However, he is able to walk past other dogs on a walk and may be able to walk with some other dogs in the future provided they give him the space he needs.
Ludo does suffer from separation anxiety and the thing he loves the most is being in the company of human friends and having a cuddle on the sofa. His perfect home would be where someone is home most of the time, as he finds being on his own quite stressful.
