Milly is a tiny, cute star looking for a very special home. Sadly, she was found on the streets in the U.K., and the stray dog kennels she was handed to initially missed the fact that she was ill and she lost a kilo of weight in just under two weeks.
When she arrived with Forget-Me-Not Animal Rescue, she was taken to the vets immediately and they diagnosed sepsis. They advised putting her to sleep, but the Rescue refused and fought to save her and so did Milly. The transformation in just short of three weeks is a true miracle.
Milly is 14 years old according to her unregistered chip. She is short, fluffy coated in black/grey with tiny flecks of white. It’s unsure what breed she is, as she was severely matted with maggots in her ears and vulva and so had to be completely clipped.
Milly is looking for a quiet retirement, but she loves short walks and trots along the road (the Rescue is on a very quiet Welsh country lane) like she’s trotting for Wales and, off-lead, you have to jog sometimes to keep up with her, like she switches up a gear! She can be left for a few hours as she sleeps a lot.
Milly may need some of her teeth removing, but she was found matted and emaciated so she is building up her strength first. It’s not yet known if she is neutered, how she reacts to children or if she could live with another dog.
Please note the Rescue try and rehome within 2 hours of their location in mid Wales.
