30/08/2024 – Gorgeous Mishka has found a home!
Mishka is a beautiful 14-year-old female Husky who is with RSPCA West Hatch Animal Centre, near Taunton, Somerset.
RSPCA West Hatch told us:
“Mishka is a smashing girl who just loves the company of people. It is sad to see old dogs in kennels, and although she took everything in her stride when she arrived at the Centre, it was obvious that she was missing the comforts of a home.
Sadly some medical issues delayed us being able to make Mishka available as quickly as we would have liked, but thankfully she was placed in a foster home where she has settled in quickly and has been a joy to care for.
Mishka gets on very well with other dogs when out and about with her fosterers. She walks calmly on the lead but because she is hard of hearing, any off-lead exercise should only be done in secure locations.
She is very clean in the house and lets you know if she wants to go into the garden. She travels well in the car and enjoys being out and about.
Mishka’s ideal home would be a quiet one, with someone who wants a lovely companion to share their life with.”
Mishka is neutered. She has had a couple of lumps removed. She is hard of hearing and is on pain relief medication which is covered by the Friends of West Hatch up to £100/month.
