Nobita is a sweet, gentle 10-year-old boy who has endured a life of neglect but still has so much love to give. After being brought to safety, he’s now searching for a calm, patient home where he can finally enjoy the care and comfort he’s been waiting for. This precious boy is currently in foster care on the Wirral and is ready to meet his forever family.
Nobita is an affectionate lap dog who loves being close to his humans and thrives on gentle attention. While initially nervous around new people, he quickly builds trust with kindness. He is sociable with other dogs and he gets along wonderfully with calm, older dogs and enjoys meeting new furry friends.
Nobita is low activity and is still building confidence walking outside but loves being carried and watching the world from your arms. He is food motivated and enjoys his meals in a crate, waiting patiently and making crate training easy if you choose to continue it.
Nobita would thrive in a quiet, loving home with an owner who can give him the continued care and patience he needs. If you’re comfortable with administering the last few injections or have experience caring for others, that would be a bonus. Nobita has Leishmaniasis, a manageable condition that requires just one tablet a day. He also needs a short course of mini injections to balance his blood. Once completed, no further injections will be needed. With this care, his coat will regrow, and he’ll regain his beautiful colour.
Nobita is easy to handle and is comfortable with gentle examinations of his ears, teeth, and paws. His house-training is in progress and he has no accidents when supervised. While he wears a nappy when unsupervised, he just needs a bit more guidance to perfect his toilet training.
Nobita is being rehomed privately by Emma, who has confirmed that she will take him back if his new home doesn’t work out for any reason. Prospective adopters will be carefully home-checked.
