UPDATE: The Rescue will cover Phoebe’s health care, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments and food under their Vet Support Scheme providing her new owner is within the Leicester area and able to travel to their Vets only.

Cute little Phoebe is a 13 – 14 year old Chihuahua and she is seeking a retirement home with a cosy bed and lots of love. Meantime, she is being looked after by Leicester Animal Aid and hopes to go to her forever home soon.

Phoebe is a happy, little soul who just loves her cosy bed. She is a fond lover of food and enjoys staying warm and toasty inside with her owner. She would love to be a companion dog and fulfil the rest of her days in comfort with someone who will adore her like she should be.

Phoebe will need a patient and kind owner as she needs help with her toilet training. She can be unsure of new people and can be vocal, so introductions must be done at her pace with kindness. Phoebe could live with teenagers and could potentially accept an older, calm dog as a companion in her new home.

As an older girl, Phoebe has just had a dental with 9 teeth removed and a mammary lump removed. She is fighting fit and in remission and looking for her retirement home. She will be happy pottering about in a garden to call her own rather than going out on walks. Phoebe does not ask for much at all, just love and plenty of TLC; she is the sweetest of souls.
