10/02/2024 – Rowan has found a home!

So cute, Rowan is an absolutely tiny, 8 year old Chihuahua and he weighs just 2kg. He found himself looking for a new home when he was left unclaimed in the pound. His mouth was absolutely rotten and all but 4 teeth had to be removed; this doesn’t affect him eating at all. This was most likely the reason he was left unclaimed. He also had a deep eye ulcer which was not treatable, so had to be removed.
All Animals Rescue & Rehome say Rowan is small and mighty and full of fun and mischief! He has a lovely character that will melt your heart and he would make a fantastic companion for someone who likes the slower pace of life and a little buddy to talk to. He is a brilliant little man.
Rowan is a happy little guy that would love a family or person of his own. He absolutely loves food and snuggles – in that order. He is a little person who likes to follow you around and has to know what’s going on. He is the first to raise the alarm if he detects an imposter and he will protect you with his life, all 2kg of him!
Rowan lives with both dogs and cats and is absolutely fine with both – unless they go to steal his food, then he will shout at them. He is a comical little lad that always makes everyone laugh, especially when such a tiny little guy manages to hog so much of the bed! He absolutely must be allowed to sleep in the bedroom with you and won’t tolerate being shut out; he has to protect you while you are sleeping.
As Rowan absolutely adores other dogs, he could happily live with them though, that said, he is also a very independent little man, so he would be happy as the only dog in the home as well. He is also fantastic with cats and can happily live with them. Due to his tiny size, he can only live with children aged 13 plus.
Rowan is fine to be left for short periods although he thinks he is the neighbourhood watch. He will happily cuddle up in his bed. He is house-trained, however will scent mark in a new environment.
Rowan is a gorgeous, happy, little man that so desperately needs a forever home and family to grow up with. He is neutered, microchipped and flea/worm treated.
