Sweet old Sam (aka Kan) is a gentle German Shepherd Cross of 10 years who spent most of his life in a shelter in Bosnia but has been enjoying home comforts in a UK foster home for several months now, through Hope VMS. He is currently in Malvern, Worcestershire.
Sam gets on well with other dogs when out and about. He could possibly live with another, compatible older dog who is calm and likes peace as much as Sam does. He will need to be fed separately though as he resource guards his food. He’d also be perfectly happy as an only pet. He hasn’t been cat tested.
Sam loves humans! He adores fuss and is a happy, playful soul who could live with older children. He weighs in at 35kg so he’s a bit on the large side for very young people. He is sweet natured and obedient.
Sam is clean and well behaved in the home. He loves his toys and can be left to his own devices for a couple of hours.
Sam’s absolute favourite thing is splashies! He will splash through streams, ponds, puddles and even a bowl of water outside.
Sam is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for his new beginning.
