Gorgeous boy Sam (previously named Kan) is a large German Shepherd Cross of about 9 years. He’s in a foster home in Malvern, Worcestershire through Hope VMS while he waits for his forever family to find him.

Sam is an affectionate and playful dog but is also very gentle. This is just as well because he is a big dog. He’d be fine living with older, sensible children. He needs a good-sized garden to play in and people to play with. A paddling pool would make him ecstatic as he loves a good splashies!

Sam is generally good with other dogs when out and about. It’s thought he’d prefer to be the only pet at home as he really loves human attention. He hasn’t been cat tested and sometimes guards his food, so it’s simplest all round if he doesn’t need to worry about rivals. He has more than enough love and fun to fill a household!

Sam is clean and well behaved in the home. He can be left for a couple of hours, as long as he has toys and a choice of comfy places to snooze. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. After having spent years in a shelter abroad, life in a lovely foster home in the UK has given him a taste of comfort and peace. All he needs now are some humans to call his own.
