Handsome Spirit is a very loving medium sized 10yr old cross breed boy, currently being fostered in Twickenham, Middlesex and under the care of Nirina Dog Adoptions who are looking for his forever home.
Spirit is a very confident boy who just loves human attention. He will stop for a stroke when out for a walk, and who can blame anyone for not stopping and wanting to stroke this gorgeous boy ! He’s great with dogs and is currently living with another dog in foster, and largely ignores them. He is extremely bright, so it is thought he would really love further training. He already knows “sit” and some other basic commands.
Spirit just loves food and happily supervises the emptying of the dishwasher. He is very enthusiastic at mealtimes and will put his paws up on the kitchen counter. Who doesn’t love a helping hand in the kitchen !
Spirit loves a snuggle, and so if you sit down, expect him to be up for a cuddle, likewise if you stop whilst out walking, then a little back scratch is appreciated. He also adores being brushed. Spirit would make a great walking companion, keeping a brisk pace, but he does also like a good sniff and to explore, so a garden would be really great too.
Spirit does like to chase the squirrels that come into the garden, but he is good with the chickens and would be OK living with a cat, once boundaries have been set. He could possibly live with older children who are respectful of his age, and would appreciate a quieter home in which to relax. He is such a good boy and can happily be left on his own for a few hours whilst you pop out.
