This is Teddy and she is the sweetest little thing. She’s currently being cared for in a foster home provided by The Little Rescue in Hertfordshire and she needs to be rehomed within a 25 mile radius of Stevenage.

Teddy is 9 years old and is good with kids and with her foster mum’s dogs. Ideally, Teddy would be rehomed with an active, retired couple/person or a family with children aged 10+ (so they understand that, although she is energetic and quite lively, she does have limits).

Teddy would also like to be with another dog for company as she likes to have a play. She has been walking well off the lead in a pack (her recall is helped by her love of food)! She’d like to have a good walk every day which will also help her to lose weight and keep it off.

Teddy’s previous owner could no longer care for her due to ill health, which is really sad for them both. She used to bark at her owner for attention and did try that with her foster mum, but is learning that it doesn’t get her anywhere. Keeping her well walked and exercised is also helping to lessen this behaviour.

Teddy has had a check-up at the Vet and is a healthy girl who just needs to lose some pounds. She has Addisons disease, but it is stable with a daily steroid tablet and a monthly injection. She is also neutered.
