This is Theo – isn’t he simply theo-dorable? He is an affectionate and charming chap looking for a loving, adult-only home where he can be the centre of attention as the only pet. Dogs Trust Shropshire in Shrewsbury are helping him to find his forever home.
Theo is a 9 year old, neutered Siberian Husky Cross and he thrives in the company of people and would prefer not to be left alone for long periods. Ideally, his new family will have plenty of time to spend with him, as he loves being part of the action, whether it’s a cosy day indoors or using his nose to sniff out new smells; the Rescue staff just like to say he is going on a “snifari”.
If you’re a fan of music, you’re in for a treat – Theo has a special talent for howling along with the radio, turning every day into a mini concert! If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion to fill your home with love and laughter, Theo is eagerly waiting to meet you. He’s ready to give you his heart and all he needs is a forever family to call his own.
Theo has shown resource guarding in his previous home so will need a home which has an understanding of this behaviour. Dogs Trust’s incredible training team are ready to support you every step of the way, both before and after Theo comes home, to help manage his transition into a new home.
Theo does have some age-related mobility requirements which will need to be discussed with their vet team who will be on hand to discuss this in more detail. He will also need a home that will not require him to negotiate many stairs and shorter walks.
