This lovely lady is called Tilly and she found herself in the pound not long after having puppies after being purchased as a guard dog but failed! Sadly, she has been in kennels for 5 years, so it’s about time she went to her forever home. Meantime, German Shepherd Rescue Elite are caring for her at their kennels in Cheshire.
Tilly is now 9 years old (born 4.1.2015) and is fully vaccinated, microchipped and now spayed. The Rescue’s volunteers have found her to be a very friendly girl who has been great with all the people she has met. Tilly has not shown any issues around food. She loves to play and is very toy orientated as you would expect of her breed.
Tilly has been fine walking out with other dogs when on lead. She can be distracted with a toy in her mouth but could not live with another dog. There is no history with cats or children, but it’s a probable no to cats due to her drive and living with older children only.
Tilly will need a home that can give her the exercise and mental stimulation she needs. She is also typically very protective of her person, so would particularly suit a one-to-one home that understands the breed.
