Sweet pair, Toffee and Podge, need your help please as they are an older couple living in kennels provided by Boycie’s Bridge Dog Rescue. They need to be close to one of their branches of vets as the Rescue will continue to pay for their upkeep at their own vets as long-term fosters.
Toffee is 15 years old and Podge is a 17 year old Collie Cross and they really need to be in the comfort of their own cosy home. They do need a pet-free home unfortunately which is proving difficult to find. This poor old couple have sadly lost their owner who passed away a number of months ago.
Toffee and Podge are senior dogs who are very slow, a bit sore and have the usual lumps and bumps, but they just want a quiet place to cuddle up together and live out their last days with no young children as they are used to a calm environment.
Toffee and Podge have now been in kennels for a few months and have not managed to find a home; they really need for someone to come forward please and offer them a space. The Rescue are happy to home these old souls as long-term fosters which means they will pay for everything they need and all vet expenses.
Toffee and Podge just ask that you give them all the love and comfort they could wish for. They really don’t deserve to end their days in a kennel environment. Anyone who applies will need to be within travel distance of the Rescue’s Vets at either the Stafford, Stone or Bloxwich branch.
