Beautiful Bekala, also known as Bella, was handed in to a rescue in Seville, Spain, and came to the U.K. on 16/11/2024 in search of a loving home with the help of Project Galgo. She is currently in foster care in Cardiff, Wales.
Bella is a stunning, red brindle Galga and is 9 years old (born 17/10/2015). She has the perfect combination of being sweet and cheeky. Bella likes cuddles, treats, curling up on blankets and playing in the leaves, especially cuddles and treats! She has the talent of being absolutely adorable and getting you to pet her nonstop.
Bella doesn’t like being left along and having anyone else in her bed; she cries. She is a shy girl and needs time and patience to get used to her environment, but she does love people. An adult home would suit her best and she would like someone who is around and with her most of the time.
Bella is great with other dogs but could easily be an only dog. It’s possible she could also live with cats. Mainly she just needs a home where someone will let her come into her own and blossom into the incredible dog she was born to be.
Bella is neutered, weighs 23kg and is 26″ to the shoulder. She is in good condition but still a bit underweight and is clear of any Mediterranean disease.
