Darling Boo is a gorgeous 7 yr old Chow Chow who found herself in rescue as an unclaimed stray, where All Animals Rescue and Rehome in Essex are now searching for her perfect forever home. She can be a bit of a stubborn lady, so because of this, it’s a must that her new humans have experience of the breed and understand their behaviour.
She is however described as a wonderful girl, that is a delight to be around. She is a cheeky lady, and quite different from your usually aloof Chow !
Boo is a regal girl who walks beautifully on the lead, loves exploring, and then with head down, sets off and wants to sniff out everything ! She is housetrained and loves her food, but her favourite thing is her ball. She’s not a big chaser, but will play with her ball indoors walking around with it in her mouth. Boo loves her home comforts, so a warm and welcoming home with lots of cuddles will make the perfect home. She’s a gentle soul, with not a bad bone in her body.
Boo will be best as an only dog as she can get a bit bossy with other dogs, but if another dog was laid back and calm, then that may work too. Any children need to be over 13yrs, for the only reason that Boo can be a bit clumsy and may knock smaller children over with her enthusiasm.
She’s not destructive and is quite happy being left for short periods. Her lovely furry coat needs regular grooming, so her hew humans must be committed to this too, although who wouldn’t want to cuddle up and groom Boo ! She is a perfect traveller in the car and is a pleasure to be around.
Boo is spayed, chipped and has been flea treated and wormed. She is not cat tested.
