Bumble (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

Sociable Bumble is a medium-sized, retriever-type Crossbreed aged around 7 – 8 years old. He came to Safe Rescue two years ago from a private shelter in Romania where he had been for most of his life. He’s now safely in a foster home in Norwich, Norfolk, and hoping to find his forever home soon.

Bumble is such a fabulous boy and was adopted pretty much straight away but has sadly just been returned to the Rescue as his adopters cannot afford to keep him. Back then, his write-up was:

“Bumble is a fabulously happy, jazz hands kind of dog who adores one and all. He dances around the kitchen with my daughter and is just the life and soul of the party! Bumble could live with another dog but would be very happy to be the only dog getting all the attention.”

Not much has changed except Bumble’s a little older and wiser about life as a part of a family. He is still quite strong on a lead and will pull towards other dogs because he wants to play, so he will need some training in this area.

Bumble would like a home with no small children as he’s a little arthritic in his shoulder but on no treatment for this currently. Bumble really is a tonic of a dog and he’s very sad to be returned to a multi-dog foster home and would like his quieter life back soon please.

Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full details of their rehoming policy are on Bumble’s details here.
