21/2/25 Darling Dex has now gone to his forever home.
Dear little Dex is a total lapdog who loves nothing more than snuggling up for a good cuddle and lots of love and attention. He was surrendered to Safe Rescue by his owner, and is being fostered in Hingham in Norfolk. He is a 7yr old Yorkie cross.
He gets on with other dogs, but as he has a history of resource guarding, it is felt he would be better suited to a single dog household, but if his new owner has experience with guarding, and is happy to work on this behaviour, then consideration would be given to him joining another dog in the home.
Rex walks nicely on the lead and is housetrained. He loves children, as this means lots more cuddles ! So, respectful children over the age of 8yrs would be fine to share Dex’s home. He’s OK with cats too !
Please note – When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). Please see Dex’s home page for more information.
