Beautiful Fluffy is seeking a new home as Paws2Rescue sadly found her after she was dumped by the side of the road with a pup who was hit by a car and died right in front of her. Scared and confused, Fluffy just sat and waited, but whoever left her never came back. Before arriving to the U.K., she spent some time at the shelter in Romania. Currently in kennels in Sheffield, she would love either a new home or foster one to be going on with.
Fluffy is a big, healthy, German Shepherd size girl who is about 7.5 years old (dob 15.06.2017). She is sweet and obedient despite her difficult past. She is very good with all people and absolutely loves cuddles; she prefers human attention to any toy and craves affection. She needs a loving, patient family and is such an amazing, clever dog.
Just like a true Shepherd, Fluffy loves to be active and lots of varied mental and physical exercise is essential to keep her happy. She enjoys running and exploring new places, digging holes and doing agility exercises. Fluffy will be an incredible partner for an outdoorsy person as she loves woods and beaches. She is nicely mannered and so affectionate.
Fluffy is house-trained and great on a lead. She can be animated around other dogs, but it is easy to get her to walk away. She has also shown lead reactivity in the past but has improved working with the team at kennels. She was anxious in the past and it could be she will have anxiety again.
Fluffy would love to find a responsible owner who will help her thrive. She is best suited for an adult-only household, with no other pets to have her family’s attention all to herself. However, she could possibly live with a calm, male dog after introduction.
Fluffy is neutered and has no known medical conditions.
