26/2/2025 Beautiful Gitana has been adopted after being spotted on the Oldies Club website and is very happy!

Gitana is a beautiful, calm, 8 yr old Galgo who was handed into Project Galgo’s Rescue in Almeria, Spain, and brought to the UK, where she is hoping to find her new forever home. She is patiently waiting in West London for her new humans to take her home.
Galgos are Spanish Greyhounds and are sadly used for hunting and competing. They are usually only used for one season and then cruelly discarded. They are treated despicably and often tortured and kept in appalling conditions. These gentle dogs make the most loving companions and whoever can find it in their heart to adopt Gitana, will be very lucky indeed.
Gitana is such a cheerful girl and so loving, and just wants to be as close to you as possible. She does not like being left on her own, so would like someone to be at home most of the time in her new home. Perhaps where someone works from home, or a home where people work at different times, so there is someone around to keep Gitana company.
Gitana could happily live with children over the age of 8 yrs, and would be fine living with another dog(s). She also loves meeting dogs out and about, and as she travel well in the car, she would love to come on adventures with you !
Gitana has not been cat tested, so best that she does not live with any small furries. She is neutered and has no known health conditions.
