Sadly, these two girls called Kiwi and Kayla and are mother and daughter, have come into the care of Last Chance Animal Rescue in Edenbridge, Kent, for rehoming due to their owner being taken into care. They are tan and black Jack Russell Terriers aged 10 and 6 years old respectively.

Their owner tried his best to take care of Kiwi and Kayla and they were well loved. However due to his illness, the girls didn’t receive the vet treatment they needed and came into rescue with skin problems. These have been treated and noticeable improvements have been made with fur growing back, but there is still a way to go before they have a full fur coat. This does not stop the girls from living life to the fullest.

Kiwi and Kayla were sadly not walked for a year and lived in a small room, so they are loving the new freedom that they have now. Due to this, they are not socialised with dogs and would need a patient and understanding owner.

Kayla is very busy and is always on the go being nosy but will jump on your lap for a fuss when she is done! Kiwi is a little quieter and takes life in her own pace and loves coming to you for gentle affection. Neither girls has lived with children and find lots of noise overwhelming, so they are looking for an adult-only home with no other pets.
