Marge (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

Darling Marge is a large crossbreed girl that originates from Romania where Safe Rescue found her in the public shelter, after her owners abandoned her when she became ill. The volunteers at the shelter thankfully saved her life and she now has the chance to be loved and cared for in a loving forever home. She is currently being fostered in Rollesby in Norfolk.

Her age is not certain, but it is believed she is in double figures, but more than that is unknown.

Marge is the sweetest of dogs. When she stands still her legs are a little shaky, but once she starts walking she is stronger and walks well, but does tire quickly. She therefore does not require long walks, but little strolls to keep her active. She gets on well with other dogs, so could be homed with resident dogs or could be an only dog.

A home with respectful children over the age of 8 would be perfectly fine for Marge, and a garden would be wonderful, so she could potter at her own speed. Marge is an absolutely delightful, loving girl and so deserves a wonderful warm home where she will be spoilt and pampered, in her retirement years.

Please note – When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). Please see Marg’s home page for more information.
