Reggie and Bailey (Chilterns Dog Rescue Society, Hertfordshire)

Darling little Reggie and Bailey are the best of friends, and sadly, their owner is unable to care for them any longer. Their dearest wish is that their beloved dogs will find the best forever home in which to spend their retirement years. Chilterns Dog Rescue Society in Hertfordshire are really hoping this special appeal will find that special person.

Bailey is an 11 yr old white and beige Cavachon and Reggie is a 7 yr old black and white Shih-Tzu. Both are dear little boys that have lived together since Reggie was a puppy.

Bailey has been diagnosed with a mild heart murmur, meaning his exercise needs to be controlled. He also has a little wart on his eye and a little hair loss on his back, but none of these conditions currently require treatment. Reggie is in good health, save for a cyst between his toes, that doesn’t impact upon his life or need treatment.

Both little chaps enjoy short daily walks and walk nicely on their leads. Whilst Bailey likes walking and playing with his toys, Reggie prefers lots of cuddles and affection. Both are described as calm and friendly dogs.

They have lived with older children, and could do so again, and whilst they have been used to someone at home all day, they could be left for short periods as they are happy to keep each other company. They have limited experience of travelling in a car.

These special boys so need to stay together, and be loved and welcomed into their new home. Could you offer them the home they are seeking ?
